From Beginner to Advanced, Child to Adult, I'll teach you to play the "right way from the beginning" or help you sharpen your skills and improve tone production, ensemble playing, soloing ability and overall performing quality. Whether you're playing second chair clarinet in the Marching band at school, first chair flute in Symphonic Band, preparing to audition for Lead Alto or Jazz Tenor in a college jazz band, looking to get into the horn section of a rock band, performing with a worship team or just want to play some popular tunes, I'll get you where you want to be!

My Teaching Approach
With a musical instrument, it's easy to tell if you're getting through to your student (immediate feedback, in other words). I specialize in understanding where my students are coming from and communicating with them in the most effective way possible. I stress proper techniques to achieve excellent tone quality and emphasize the importance of finger dexterity for accurate interpretation and execution. Self expression is encouraged--after all, that's what music is all about! It's also supposed to be fun in addition to all the work and practice required.
